Color coding using the Jalema Code Tabs allow a visual identification of the individual file.
Filing means not only storing materials, but also being able to find them again (and most importantly), with a minimum of time and effort. A good color code system enable you to file optimally. Jalema has developed such a system with our Color Code sytem - CodeTabs.
CodeTabs are laminated, self-adhesive colored tabs that are available either in solid colors or with number code tabs, letter code tabs, or year code tabs.
All Jalema hanging files (with the exception of the largest sizes) come with a coding strip printed on the file. Each pre-printed code tab strip consists of six sections of 1 inch each and one of 3/4 inch. The Code tabs are adhered to these sections, thus creating color blocks for easy identification and an efficient coding system.
You can code your files using a variety of methods, such as consecutive number (job number), alphabetically (customer / job name), or based on job number.
If a file with color tabs is hung in the wrong place it stands out immediately because the colors on the Code tabs do not match the surrounding code tabs.
The efficient color coding filing system save you 40% of the valuable time you would normally spend looking for files.
